The injection process is used to manufacture many PVC products like connectors, technical parts for the automotive industry, hooks, caster wheels, products for the shoe industry (like soles), technical parts for the electro-electronic and information technology industries (video casing and computer keyboards), etc.

An injection machine is basically composed of an introduction funnel, plastification cylinder, screw (which is housed inside the cylinder) and a mold.

The PVC compound, generally in the form of grains, is introduced through the funnel and forced to enter the plastification cylinder. The cylinder is equipped with electrical resistance, and with the aid of the screw, plastifies the PVC compound, allowing it to be injected into the cavity of the mold, providing the final shape of the piece.
