Our product

Due to the countless number of applications resulting from different formulas, PVC Compounds are present in our daily life, providing anything from rigid items to flexible products.

Final products manufactured with our PVC Compounds are divided into two main groups – rigid and flexible.

The are employed in the following industries: automotive, civil construction, electro-electronic, hospital and pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, clothing, cleaning products, toys and domestic items.

Main applications include the production of shoes and shoe parts, packaging film, bottle making, lid and gasket seals, wire covering and electric cables, telecommunication applications, blood bags and tubes for fluids and other hospital items, industrial or domestic use hoses, electronic and information technology technical parts, covering for metal, tubes, valves and connections for building facilities, profiles for door and window frames and coverings, parts for finishing profiles and trims and many others that can be developed.

Products made from PVC Compounds are easy to process, are practical, durable and low cost, and are shaped mainly through pressing, extrusion, injection, blowing and thermal shaping.

This wide variety of application is due to the combination of PVC resins with various additives that protect the PVC Compounds during the transformation process and confer specific characteristics for the final use.

Additives are plastification agents, stabilizers, lubricants, pigments, charges, impact modifiers, as well as countless others used on a smaller scale.

PVC Compounds are products that are submitted to the following operational stages:

- Specific mixture of PVC resin with its additives in well-defined quantities;
- Gelling or plastification of the mixture in the appropriate equipment;
- Treatment of the gelled product, generally submitted to correct granulation.

The dry-blend is a mixture of resins with additives submitted to a single resin mixture operation with additives.

Some of the most interesting characteristics of PVC Compounds are their reduced flammability, an extremely high rate of flame retardancy, as well as the ability to self-extinguish flames, and the capacity for electrical isolation.
